Interactive Ghost Walk
through the Plague Village of Eyam
Set in the beautiful countryside of Derbyshire, sits the picturesque village of Eyam with a sad story. Join us for a guided interactive ghost walk through the streets as we take you back to the year of 1665. Hear how the bubonic plague reached the village with devastating effect. You will learn about the foresight of the Vicar and the sacrifice the people of Eyam made to save others.
This truly is an amazing place to visit that will pull on your heart strings. The walk will eventually lead us to the haunted woods beyond the Riley graves. But by what or whom?
The walk will take approximately two hours. During the walk you will take part in experiments and use a variety of ghost hunting equipment to make contact with those who sadly passed of the plague of 1665.
The walk will take place whatever the weather. Please wear suitable clothing, flat shoes or walking boots, no high heals.
Please bring a torch and your own refreshments.
The walk to the Riley graves and the woods is quite steep and in some places rough terrain.
All experiments held on the night are for entertainment purposes only. We will not expect anyone to take part in any experiments they do not feel comfortable with.
This event is open to over 18 year olds only.
Anyone deemed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be told to leave and no refunds will be issued.
Ghost Hunters UK cannot be held liable for any loss or damage of any equipment or personnal belonging that members of the public bring with them on the walk.
Tickets are just £15.00 per person.
Meeting outside Eyam Hall gates at 7pm
